Linlithgow Palace: 

Linlithgow Palace is a magnificent ruin located in West Lothian, Scotland. Once a principal residence of Scottish monarchs, it was the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. Although burned out in 1746, the palace remains an impressive sight, with its walls still standing strong. Visitors can explore the ruins, including the grand hall and the queen's chambers, and imagine the palace in its former glory.

Balmoral Castle

Balmoral Castle is the Scottish holiday home to the Royal Family. The grounds are now open to the public on specific dates over the winter months- please check the website for opening days and times. Admission is currently free of charge.

Balmoral Castle has been the Scottish home of the Royal Family since it was purchased for Queen Victoria by Prince Albert in 1852, having been first leased in 1848.

Enjoy a relaxing visit to the grounds at Balmoral. After your tour you can visit the Mews Gift Shop, where you will find a wide range of gifts, both Scottish and Royal. You can also purchase hot and cold refreshments in the Mews Coffee Shop, where the menu celebrates a wonderful range of local and Scottish produce.

Ballater

The village of Ballater on the River Dee is a favourite with the British Royal Family. Settle in here for an overnight stay in the north.

Burn O'Vat

After leaving Ballater we'll take a short drive to the woods of Burn O'Vat. From here we will have an opportunity to stretch our legs along a lovely river side walk: if you're feeling brave you can head through the rocks to see the remarkable pothole left as the great Glacier retreated.

Just south of Tarland we will head towards the Tomnaverie Stone Circle. Dating from the Bronze Age the construction of this mystical place began in about 2500BC. With recumbent stones weighting up the 6.5-tonnes, take a moment here to breath in the miraculous nature of this place.

Today we'll explore the wee, but very well-known, village of St. Andrew's. 

We'll take you on a lovely tour of the ancient streets, showing you the castle ruins, cathedral, the iconic golf course, and more! Enjoy some shopping and lunch in the village centre, where you'll be surprised to find modern and traditional clothing and amenities. 

This is sure to be a fun and relaxing day!

Head to Stirling for Farewell Concert

This farewell concert will be one for the books! We've partnered with Allanwater Brewhouse for our last meal - a catered BBQ (your final tour included group dinner) and concert with more fantastic local artists. 

Enjoy the award-winning lager, ale and cider brewed at this amazing brewhouse and get the last taste of your Scottish nights!
